DESCRIPTION:UMAC Nottingham BJJ Open I takes place on Sunday\, May 10th\, 2026\, offering Gi and No-Gi competition across Child\, Juvenile\, and Adult divisions under IBJJF rules. Children and juveniles compete at green belt and below\, while adults compete across all belt levels.\n\n**Competition format** varies by division size: Best of 3 for two fighters\, Round Robin for three\, and single elimination brackets for larger fields. All absolute divisions run single elimination.\n\n**Prizes include** medals for top 3 in each division\, team trophies\, and specialty awards for fastest submissions and absolute champions. A Super Fight is available for all adult belts (18+) using black belt rules\, with prize money of £350/£150/£50 if 16+ competitors enter.\n\n**On-site amenities** include food and drink (açaí smoothies available)\, a clothes stall\, professional photography and videography (free download within 24 hours)\, first aid\, and parking.\n\nSpectator entry is £10 cash only (applies to anyone attending with a competing child).
